Swimming Australia/SCTA and AUSTSWIM accredited, David Tomkinson has taught learn to swim and trained high performance swimmers worldwide for over 25 years. In 2002 David established The Hayley Lewis Swim School with Olympic and World Champion swimmer Hayley Lewis. In 2018 David established SLP Global and won the Thailand Prestige Award Sports Club of the Year 2021/22. David also received the APAC Insider SOUTH EAST ASIA Business Award - Recognised Leader in Sports Development Thailand 2022

As a National level swimmer, David Tomkinson achieved a Top 10 ranking in 100m and 50m Breastroke. David trained alongside Australian swimming superstars Susie O‘neil, Jade Edmistone, and Scott Logan under the guidance of Australian Olympic and AIS coach, the late Bernie Wakefield. David currently holds a Top 10 Australia Masters Rankings
